Tamagno was born in Portugal and moved to Paris sometime in the 1880s. He became the principal artist for the printing house of Camis, preparing theatre bills and railway posters. Later, he focused on bicycle and liquor posters. His style is highly pictorial often using bright, cheerful colors. |
