|
Not much is known about Georges Fay. He was an artist and illustrator who produced posters of such surpassing quality that they are consistently included in museum collections. His most lauded poster may be "Le 'Quartier' Cabaret-Salon" designed in 1897. Two of his posters are reproduced in the prestigious Les Maitres de l'Affiche. Plate 183 is his 'Amieux-Freres' and Plate 231 is his 'Syndicat Central des Agriculteurs de France.' |
