The exhibition the poster advertises, featured the works of Grasset, Cheret, Lautrec, Steinlen, Ibels, Roebel, etc. as listed on the scroll underneath the woman's hand. Perhaps, it is this list of artists that influenced Thiriet's style as his ability to evocatively depict the archetypal Art Nouveau woman is reminiscent of many of these artists. He worked in a delicate, flowing style, rich in floral decoration, infusing medieval and Japanese influences. Additionally, Thiriet used color in golden browns and soft reds to depict feminine sensuality and whimsy - his maiden wear's a crown of flowers as her hair falls along her flowing gown, her eyes shut in stillness of expectation.
