This is one of three posters Roger Broders designed for travel in India. The ancient city of Muttra is revered by Hindus as the birthplace of Krishna and considered one of the most important centers of Indian art. Here, specifically, the poster is promoting travel on the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway and the Great Indian Peninsula Railway.
