This 1934 original poster designed by Vic for the first World Cup of aerobatics features a biplane making an inverted loop over the globe surrounded by flags. Nine competitors representing six countries competed in this prestiges international event which took place at the Paris airfield in Vincennes. The well-heeled crowd of 150,000 watched as German pilot Gerhard Fieseler won flying his F2 Tiger. Michel Detroyat, the French Ace, came in second.
This rare poster, is small in size and is complete with the original tax stamps.
