This rare 1968 poster for Settimana Azzurra commemorates the 50th anniversary of Count Francesco Baracca, Italy's top ace pilot. During WWI, he was credited with 34 aerial victories. Settimana Azurra or Blue Week was held in Lugo, Baracca's home town. Here we see the count standing next to his SPAD XIII with his prancing horse emblem painted on its side. This emblem was the inspiration for the Ferrari logo.
