Paris, more than ever, the capital of the world, the capital of the Allies at War, and in August 1918, the City of Lights became the capital of the Allied Women on War Services. A mass meeting was held at the Champs-Elysee Theatre where the nations of war were officially represented by women. The meeting was presided over by Lord Derby, British Ambassador and addressed by M. Stephan Pinchon, French Foreign Minister. This poster is a call to action for American women to come to Paris, to gather, and influence the world's politics.
